As shown on the previous screens, to call a correspondent can be made as following:
- dialing the number from the phone keypad or number editor,
- from the call history,
- from personal contacts,
- from the corporate directory,
- from the WiZiN discovery function.
The call may, however, only be transmitted in the “Registered” or “Point-to-Point” status.
From this point the establishing call screen is displayed:
A. Called identifier
This field is composed with
- the name if the phone number is associated with an existing contact,
- the phone number.
B. Call state
This field is updated according server or remote party response (SIP status).
Here are the main states:
Trying : Call is propagated and establishing.
Ringing : Call is ringing on remote phone.
Busy : Call is rejected.
Cancelled : Call is locally cancelled.
Connected : Connected call (see related screen).
C. Photo
The picture of the contact is displayed if exists.
Else the picture replaces the photo.
D. Speaker
This key is available before call connected to enable or disable the amplified listening.
E. Cancel
Cancel call establishing request and go back to the initial screen.
